Who Manufactures the APC Line Conditioner?

APC Line Conditioners are one of a core of products offered by Schneider Electric.  The company history extends clear back to 1836.  It was initially part of the iron and steel industry with products also in ship building and heavy equipment.  In years subsequent to WWI it formed an association with Westinghouse.  During that time its product line expanded to include electric motors, electric locomotives and power station equipment. 

After WWII a longstanding association with armament production was abandoned.  The company reorganized and diversified into new markets that included its original connections with electricity, iron and steel works, and construction.  In years later in the 20th Century the company strengthened its focus on the electrical industry by a series of acquisitions.  Among these were Telemechanique, Square D, Merlin Gerin and Lexel.  In the beginning of the 21st Century  the further acquisitions of APC, TAC, Xantrex, Clipsal, Pelco and others allowed the company to move farther into the electrical and electronics market and to enter the new areas of movement control, UPS, and building automation and security.  It is in this time that Schneider Electric adopted its line of APC line Conditioners and line conditioner products.
